Hi I have tried to update Mini Mrp enterprise from 4.2.72 to 4.2.87 and no mater how many times I try it still stays as ver 4.2.72 any ideas??

Yes.
You have the database on a shared folder - so, more than one user sharing on a network server or other shared folder. On your desktop the program shortcut points at that shared folder.
You are installing the update into the 'local' program folder on your computer.
You need to copy the (new) minimrp4.exe program file from your computer into wherever your shared folder is.
