Have you already downloaded and installed v5 Professional? If you didn't do that yet you can download the trial version from the MiniMRP website.
When you install v5 it does not overwrite or make any changes at all to the old version so you can test v5 while continuing to use the old version till you're ready to switch.
Using v4 make a backup and restore that backup into v5 so you can test v5 with real data.
