Topic:   Total Build Costs for All Work Orders

The total build cost is estimated when looking at the individual work orders. However, is there a report or indicator for the total cost of all active work orders?

Sorry. This can't be done within the program. Nobody ever asked for this before so I can't give it any priority but I have put it into the 'Wish List'.

In the meantime I'm wondering if you could export something to Excel that would get the data for you.

If you go to the menu to the left of the program window and select "All Assemblies" your active work orders should show an "On Order" quantity. Click the "OnOrder" column header to sort on that column. Then using the 'Row Select' select those rows so they're all highlighted. Keyboard CTRL-C (to copy).

Then open a spread sheet. and PASTE.

You should then be able to add a simple formula to each row to multiply a row's build cost by the OnOrder Qty. Then another formula at the bottom to total it all up.

That sounds a little long-winded but I'm sure once you've done it a coule of times it'll be pretty quick.

That's exactly what I needed. Thank you.
