Hi there - I really want to use your software. I'm even considering running a VM to run windows on my mac. I see that you are intending to release support for Mac. Can I get a sense of when you think you'd be releasing? thanks!!!

You don't need a VM.
Minimrp v5 now works under "wine" on both Linux and MacOSX.
