Hello,
What is the best way to complete a stock take in MiniMrp? I can't see a report or form to use for this.

Thanks.

We export the complete inventory to an excel file. Couple of guys walk round storeroom with a tablet entering the current onhand quantities into a new column of the excel file. When he's done we import the excel back into minimrp which updates the new quantities.

No need to export. I have a Windows tablet in the storeroom. From the minmrp menu select "All Components". Then sort by BIN. (My shelves are numbered At, A2, A3, B1, B2 etc. so I can walk round the store in BIN order). In the top right of the program window is the Lock button. Unlock that. Now just step down the window one line checking the quantity on each shelf and editing directly into the grid if necessary.

This method also makes a commecnt/note into the history of each item that's been adjusted. The note doesn't actually say Stock Check but it shows the date of the adjustment and i know what it was.
