I think this was being looked into at some point, but is there plans to add some further sorting to the shortage (forecast) say "Supplier" or "Part" etc?
When you have big list, it would make it much easier to work on a single supplier or item at a time.

Filtering the shortage forecast report is quite difficult. Well, it's not technically difficult but I mean that filtering could change the information showing more or less shortages than actually exist.
For example if an item was On Order being supplied by multiple suppliers and if you filtered out some of those suppliers then that would remove the quantities being supplied by those suppliers. This would change the reported shortage quantities of those items.
But I do agree. The report could be improved.
But I think we've reached a stage with that report where if we now asked 100 people what could be improved we'd have close to 100 different suggestions. Nobody wants the same thing.
For editing filtering etc you could export to excel?

OK - I guess using the forecast report in combination with the Snapshot report (which can be sorted by supplier) would work.
