Pictures with links defined to products in minimrp5 do not open?

Do you see an error message when the link doesn't open.

Remember that if the link is tona file on C: drive then that is the C: drive of the user's comoputer. Not the C: drive on a shared server.

If you have the picture files on a shared network folder then the link would need to be to that shared machinefolder
