Hello,
Not being IT experts - what is the best hardware for network use, i have tested installing onto two PC's connected via Wifi, this works Ok, a little slow to load pages.

Would it be better to use one or both PC's with a solid state drive? Or is a network drive better?

I can't use ethernet to connect, we will only have a few users (max) and not at the same time.

Thanks for any pointers.

When you say "Slow to load pages". How slow do you mean? For example when you click the "All Components" button it might take a few seconds to load 20,000 rows into the grid.

Installing on two PCs where the data file is on one of the PCs (PC_1) and the other PC (PC_2) connects to the data in a shared folder on PC_1. This should work fine but how quick is your WIFI? The WIFI may be the bottle neck.

Also look at your AntiVirus software. If that is setup to scan the data file every time it's accessed then that could slow things down.

Solid State drive shouldn't be necessary.
