We deal in US, Canada and occasionally Europe. Can minimrp handle costs entered in various currencies?

Yes. In the 'Pro' version.
Go to the bottom left corner of the menu - SETUP. See the 'Currencies' tab. First enter your default currency. For example USD is your default. Then add as many aditional currencies as you want. CAD, EUR etc.
For each of your additional currencies enter an exchange rate.
Then you can edit your suppliers. For example set a canadian supplier to use CAD. Then you can set the supplier's prices in his own currency.
The nice thing is that when you process BOMs the software will show the total build cost on your currency even if the components for the BOM are sourced from many suppliers in different currencies.
Occasionally you can go back to setup and change the CAD exchange rate. MiniMRP will then automatically recalculate build cost of all affected BOM
