We have our database on a NAS which is soon to become redundant. How do I move the database to our new NAS? Where are the settings that tell the program where the database is?

It depends on the version of MiniMRP and which database type you're using.

Assuming you're using the default 'jet' database then in most cases the program and the database are in the same folder.

Some NAS\Some Folder\MiniMRP5.exe
Some NAS\SomeFolder\Data\mrp5data

In which case you'd have both files, the program (minimrp5.exe) and the data file (mrp5data) on the NAS drive like that. Just copy that whole folder to the new NAS. Then on each user's desktop edit the desktop shortcut to 'point' at the minimrp5.exe on the new NAS

If you have a 'Professional' version of MiniMRP then you had other options during installation - speak to the person who installed it. They'll know what to do. Or email us at
