MiniMRP version 4 had a separate download/tool that was required to import Parts and Vendors data.
But MiniMRP version 5 (5.0.8 or above) can do it directly within the Backup/Restore option within MiniMRP.
Go to the Tools/BackupRestore window within MiniMRP.
Select Restore.
Change the file type to *.* Any File.
Select your Parts and Vendors .MDB file.

What are trilogy parts?
Or is that something where if you don't know what they are, you don't need to worry about them? :)

If you don't know then it doesn't affect you.
I think the confusion is a missing comma.
"Trilogy" is a Company Name. They (Trilogy) make (made) an inventory product called "Parts and Vendors". Also referred to as "P&V".
I say "Made, as in past tense" because Trilogy stopped updating and supporting their product a couple of years ago and now some users of that product are finding MiniMRP and the guys at MiniMRP helpfully made a tool that can convert p&v data to minimrp format.
