We use PADs for our PCB layout tool. Can MiniMRP import the BOMs from the PADS BOMs report? The format is a tab delimited text file.

Steve. MiniMRP can import BOMs as CSV files.

In 'English' locale the default delimiter is comma (comma delimited)

But in some European Locales, such as Germany, the delimiter would usually be semicolon.

Currently nobody ever asked for 'TAB' delimited but I can see why it could be necessary.

Do you want to send us a small sample of your tab delimited file? We'll take a look.

Update will soon be released that will allow TAB delimited inventory and assembly/BOMs to be be imported.
