Topic:   Help Me - emty .bkp file

By: GuestPosted on: Apr 11 2025 at 08:13:55 AM
Hello, I forgot to take the last .bkp backup from
miniMRP application. I uploaded an old .bkp file from a different company. I want to remove this .bkp file from the system but I couldn't remove it. Here is the way I followed as a solution: I uninstalled the MiniMRP application from the computer again and reinstalled it, but it did not work again. I deleted the .bkp file of a different company that I installed on the system but mrp asked me to specify a different .bkp file path. I can't go back to the beginning because I don't have a zero .bkp file like in the first installation.

I must confess that I didn't fully understand that question.

I assume you are trying to start over with an empty database?

UnInstalling the software does not remove the database.

The software usually installs in the folder

C://Program Files(x86)//MiniMRP5

In that folder is a file named MRP5DATA

That file is your data file. Don't delete the file - in case you change your mind later - Just rename that file to something else.

If the MRP5DATA file does not exist in the program folder you can install MiniMRP again and it will install a new empty database.

is that what you're trying to do?

Hello,
MRP5Data file is available. I need an empty database. How can I reset the database.

Solved the problem: When we open the program, we need to click setup/tools >> Database options >> Browese and upload the MRP5DATA file to the system. File location on the computer: C:Program Files (x86)MiniMRP5Data
When this is done, the database is reset as if it was initially installed.
