Would like to move to the enterprise version. Cam I use a cloud based file server (like AWS)? What are the server requirements? If Licences are assigned to specific PCs what files actually reside on the cloud server? Is it just the db? How does assigning db access profiles work? Can I give specific individuals just read access and others specific wread write access?

It's possible with v4 (install MiniMRP on Windows Server and clients connect via RDP) but things will change in v5 so you'd need to re-install anyway. So I'd suggest waiting for v5 which can connect directly to Microsoft SQL Servers or MySQL/MariaDB servers (yes, even Linux based web servers etc).

If you're connecting to MSSQL or MySQL/MariaDB server then you don't need to put any MiniMRP files on the server. You just install MiniMRP on the user's computer and select the option to connect to remote SQL Server.

The enterprise installer is supplied with the tools that can move your existing data up to MS SQL or MySQL/Maria DB server.

The release date of v5 has been delayed quite a lot as discussed on other threads so I'm reluctant to give an official release date but we're kind of hoping for August (2018).
