It should work. I'd need to check that to see f there's a problem.

In the meantime would you download and install again. Version 5.0.133 or there abouts is the most recent

I downloaded latest version. It still does no update the prices of the received parts.

In MiniMRP an item can have many different vendors. One of those vendors is defined as the 'default vendor'. It's this vendor's price that is shown when viewing, for example, a Bill of Materials.

You can buy from any of the vendors. If you buy from a vendor that is not the default then that vendor's price will be updated but the price of the item in a BOM will not change because the default vendor's price was not changed.

I'm not saying that that is the problem but if you could just confirm that you're aware of that and it does not explain the problem you're seeing.

Yes, I am aware of this. The purchases are usually done with the default vendor as this is the vendor that the shortage list indicates, after which we obrain the purchase order.

I have tested this and looked through the program source code and I can't see anything that could go wrong. I can't make it fail and nobody else has reported this.

If you go back into the program setup is that checkbox still set?

I do want to say that if you have, for example, a separate window open showing a BOM or something else showing price for a part and in one window you receive an order then the other window showing the part price won't automatically update to show the new price. You'd need to click the refresh button to reload the new price.

Would you be able to make a backup and send that to us?

At first I couldn't see a problem but now I think I do see something not quite right in there.

Donald. I'll send you another email today) but just posting this here in case anyone else has a similar problem as discussed above.

We'll be releasing an update later today (Friday 12th May). This update won't affect anyone else but it should fix the anomalies in your data.
