Topic:   Consolidated pick list issue when using CSAS

By: StevePosted on: Oct 11 2022 at 02:51:28 AM
I have an assembly that contains CSAS assemblies.

I have some items that are used in both regular assemblies and CSAS assemblies at the same in the top-level build assembly.

If I produce a consolidated pick list with the view inside CSAS showing it highlights the items inside CSAS which is perfect, but if an item is in both types of assembly it does not highlight the row but reports a total quantity that includes the items inside the CSAS.

Would it be possible to have two rows in the table for such items, one highlighted and one not with the correct quantities in each row?

At the moment it shows the total for all assemblies but some will be supplied in the CSAS

Many thanks

Steve

It would be great if there was a way of tagging the CSAS rows so the information was included when exported and used in Excel.

Steve. I've looked in to this. When you select the menu option to view inside CSAS assemblies then the PickList menu option is disabled so that you can't view or print a pick list that shows the components inside a CSAS assembly.

But there's a bug. The picklist menu option doesn't always stay disabled. This makes it possible to have both menu options enabled at the same time causing the problem you described.

This will be fixed ASAP.
