Your inventory can contains thousands of items so finding specific items could be quite difficult. miniMRP includes a number of search and sort features allowing you to navigate quickly through your inventory.

At the top of each column is a small label, the 'column header' . If you click a column header the list will immediately sort into alphanumerical order on that column. Click the same column header and the lists sorts it reverse order.

In the menu on the left you can group by Category or by supplier/vendor and at the bottom of the window there are boxes where you can enter search criteria.

Tip - You can also use the Dos/Windows 'Wild Card' symbols in your search. For example if you entered a word into the description field and clicked the 'Go' button this would find all items where the description begins with that word. But if you entered * (That's the 'star' symbol) followed by your search criteria then that would find all records where the search text appears anywhere in the description.
