In the main menu are options to group your inventory by Category or by Supplier/Vendor.

At the top each column has a label/button. Click any of those and the list is instantly rearranged in alphanumeric order based on which ever column you clicked.

At the bottom is the conventional 'filter'. You can use any or all of these features at the same time to search sort and filter your database to find the items you want quickly.
